In 2004 Tilly Medical formed a subsidiay company to develop a new generation of wireless ECG. The basic idea is to measure ECG completely wirelessly with low-cost disposable units in the same way as today’s wired disposable electrodes. The difference is that no wires have to be connected, thus eliminating the problems electrodes or wires coming of loose. Novosense's patented ECG measurement technology makes it possible to measure all forms of ECG with disposable self-contained units called CardioPatch®, no larger than 6 cm in diameter.
